Hesperian Triangle

  • REWILDING HESPERIAN TRIANGLE proposes to depave and install 10,500 square feet of native California forest at the intersection of 14th Street and 150th Street at the Hesperian Triangle in San Leandro, California. What was once a vibrant plaza and is currently a plot of crumbling pavement could be transformed to restore local habitat, lower temperatures, capture carbon, mitigate flooding, improve air quality, build community, and improve mental and physical wellbeing.
