  • The Flatbush Pollinator Garden tackles environmental issues common to most residential communities in Brooklyn: urban heat island effect, depletion of native habitat, and stormwater resiliency. The material palette considers cost-effective solutions to managing stormwater and implements a native planting scheme that absorbs excess water while providing habitat for pollinators.
